Dhikala

The site is located just at the end of the Patli Dun valley which the Ramaganga River cuts through. The wide valley with the numerous channels of the river is a sight to watch. There is a Tourist Complex that allows you to get a great view of the DhikalaChaur.. You can also watch the PhulaiChaur. The best thing about these grasslands is that they are great sighting spots for the royal Bengal Tiger.You can explore the Dhikala Zone only in a Canter Safari.One of the most attractive features is the forest rest house that was built by the British more than a century ago.

Jhirna

Jhirna is one of the most popular jeep safari zones in Jim Corbett National Park. This safari zone is located about 16 kms away from Ramnagar. This zone is very exciting in terms of the population of wild animals. In order to visit this area it is mandatory for you to stay at the rest house before the safari to this zone is scheduled. Until the year 1994, this zone was a farming village. After that it was converted into a safe zone as part of Project Tiger. The zone itself and the areas surrounding it make this the perfect habitat for leopards, deer, tigers etc.

Corbett falls

Located about 25 kilometers away from Ramnagar, the popular Corbett Waterfalls are situated in Nainital district on the Ramnagar- Kaladhungi highway. This is one of the most scenic waterfalls in the area with sprawling teak forests around it. op in, there is no question of any disturbance either. Camping, fishing and other activities can also be enjoyed in this area.

Garijiya Temple

This is a holy shrine that has been built atop and large rock that emerges from the River Kosi. The presiding deity of the temple is Garijiya Devi who is the daughter of Himalaya. This is a sacred Shakti shrine that is visited by devotees in large numbers every year. Several people come to the shrine to take a dip and visit the temple. The dip in these waters is supposed to be extremely auspicious.

Corbett Museum

The bungalow of the famous hunter turned environmentalist has been converted into a museum. It is located in Kaladhungi just about 3 kms from the main town. One can learn about the importance of wildlife in the area through sketches, manuscripts, paintings and also personal articles for Corbett.

Sitavani Temple

It is believed that this was the very place where Devi Sita was born unto the Earth. It is located in the Ramnagar Area and is known for the Ramnavami celebrations that take place every year.

Hanuman Dham

The Hanuman Dham temple is located in the Himalayan valley amidst the serene green surroundings. Besides the architecture of the temple itself, the green lawns, fountains and water bodies are worth the visit. You have dedicated areas for the disabled, a sitting area and several meditation halls as well.
